International Students
The Office of Internationalization and Global Engagements (OIGE) initiates planning and facilitates the various engagements of the University towards internationalization and global engagement. The office plays a crucial role in fostering a dynamic and inclusive academic environment by enhancing the university’s global impact and reputation. OIGE provides international learning opportunities for students and faculty members to participate in program-focused professional development opportunities.
ADMISSION INFORMATION
Official invitations, including the link to the online application form, will be sent through email to eligible partner institutions. Interested participants are required to complete and submit the application form on or before the indicated deadline which includes the attachment of the following documents:
- Letter of Intent
- Nomination Letter from Partner Institution
- Identification of a CSU host/supervisor
- Curriculum Vitae
- Academic Transcript or Certification of Grades
- Endorsed research/extension plan endorsed by the sending institution, if applicable
- Training logs, awards, or proof of sports participation, if applicable ● Copy of Passport valid for at least 6 months
- Appropriate VISA
Successful applicants will receive a formal confirmation letter via email from the Director/Head Office of International and Global Engagement (OIGE). All inbound student engagements shall be formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) or a duly notarized contract between the student’s home institution and the host university.
STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES
The Office of Internationalization and Global Engagement (OIGE) shall serve as the primary coordinating and releasing office for all inbound mobility announcements. Dissemination shall be undertaken in close collaboration with the concerned Colleges, Departments through the IZN program coordinators and relevant administrative units to ensure academic alignment, program readiness, and availability of institutional support services.
CAMPUS LIFE
Campus life at Caraga State University is vibrant and student-centered, going beyond academics. Students engage in various events, organizations, sports, and cultural activities that promote friendships, leadership, and personal growth. The university also provides supportive facilities and services—such as libraries, counseling, and student programs—creating a balanced environment for both academic and social development.
COST OF LIVING
Caraga State University (CSU) may adopt cost-sharing arrangements depending on the program type and available resources, while ensuring strong institutional support by fully funding and organizing official welcome ceremonies, cultural briefings, and exit activities to provide a hospitable and enriching experience for inbound students.
IMMIGRATION AND COMPLIANCE
All participants in international mobility programs shall comply with Philippine immigration requirements and the visa regulations of the host country. The University, through the Office of International and Global Engagement (OIGE) , shall process in coordination with the Bureau of Immigration and relevant government agencies to ensure lawful entry, registration, and authorized stay.
