CSU IDENTITY (CREDO)

I lead, I serve, I guide,
Anchored in purpose, I bear the Golden Paddler’s light”.
The CSUAN has a strong sense of personal and institutional identity. The three descriptors – Competent, Service-oriendted, and Upright – anchor the CSUAN as not only intellectually capable but also morally grounded and empathetic, which are critical traits for holistic leadership. The progression from “I lead” to “I serve” to “I guide” subtly reflects a maturation of purpose – from authority to service to mentorship – echoing CSU’s goal of developing graduates who are not just achievers, but also role models and changemakers in their communities. “Anchored in purpose” conveys direction and intention, while “I bear the Golden Paddler’s light” points to CSU’s emblem or spirit. It evokes pride, legacy, and the responsibility of guiding others.
