
Golden Paddler Billy S. Terante, a 4th-year BSIT under the College of Computing and Information Systems, secured 3rd place among ten participating universities in the Google Gemini Arena. Terante brought the university’s flag to this competition.
Terante, an incubatee of the university’s Technology Business Incubator (TBI), demonstrated outstanding creativity and technical competence throughout the competition. Competing against representatives from nine other universities, he showcased the effective use of AI technologies to develop innovative outputs and solutions.
The Google Gemini Arena is a competitive platform that challenges participants to demonstrate their creativity, analytical thinking, and technical skills using Google Gemini, Google’s advanced artificial intelligence system. The competition gathered talented participants from various universities who showcased innovative ideas and solutions using AI-driven tools.
The recognition strengthens the reputation of Caraga State University as an institution that fosters innovation and encourages its academic community to explore modern technologies. Also, Terante’s accomplishment serves as an inspiration to students and aspiring innovators within the university to compete and excel alongside other leading universities.
