The newly released Board Action of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc., revealed that three programs have been re-accredited at Level III. Two of which are from the Cabadbaran Campus.

CSU Main Campus’ MS Biology and Cabadbaran Campus’  BS in Electrical Engineering and BS in Tourism Management have retained their program accreditation status starting May 1 of this year until April 30, 2030.

This achievement is an added accolade to the university’s commitment to quality education. Just this March, CSU ranked 1st among the Top-performing Colleges and Universities in the Philippines for having the highest number of Level IV-accredited programs in 2025. With this in mind, the programs are committed to continuously improve its quality and hopefully push the rank to Level IV in the next evaluation cycle.

Pushing Academic Excellence Forward

This new accolade further fuels CSU’s commitment to advancing the quality and relevance of its academic programs. This year, the university has formally adopted the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework to cultivate a stakeholder-responsive, outcome-driven, and continuously improving educational system for its Golden Paddlers.

Through aligning learning outcomes with institutional goals and systematically assessing performance, CSU ensures its education remains quality-assured, globally competitive, and future-ready, empowering graduates to become leaders who uphold integrity, embrace innovation and sustainability, lead with compassion, and champion transformative change for inclusive and ethical societal development.
