Academic excellence pushes on as four (4) programs are now re-accredited by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc., following separate documentary submissions in September and October last year.

The results were obtained through official communication on February 13 and 19, 2026, respectively, and were received by the university on March 4, 2026.

Topping the list are the Bachelor of Science in Biology and the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, which were granted with Level IV Re-accreditation Status. The results implied that both programs have achieved the highest accreditation status, thereby positioning them among the best-performing programs in the country, with proven excellence that is both established and sustained.

Following the accolade are the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and the Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering, with a Level III Re-accreditation. Other graduate programs assessed at Level II are given a year’s grace period to comply with AACCUP’s mandatory recommendations for recertification.

As of this writing, the university has 12 Level IV-accredited academic programs, 8 with Level III, 20 with Level II, 2 with Level I, and 6 under Candidate Status. Building on its strong accreditation performance, the university remains committed to elevating all remaining programs at Level III and below to the highest accreditation level to achieve excellence across all academic offerings.
