Representatives from this year’s graduating class formally turned over ₱190,000.00 to the university through the Alumni Relations Office (ARO) for the ongoing Bricks Project, an initiative focused on campus beautification, landscaping, and sustainable physical development.
Ms. Patricia Shane E. Guimary, President of the Graduating Student Council (GSC), led the turnover ceremony on June 25, 2025, with Dr. Rissa L. Mercado, Vice President for Student Affairs and Auxiliary Services, and Dr. Maris T. Lasco, Director of the ARO, at the Office of the University President.
The Alumni Bricks Project is planned for five years of implementation, beginning in 2024. It allows donors to dedicate customized engraved bricks honoring individuals, groups, or organizations. These bricks will be installed across key areas of the university campus. They are envisioned to serve as lasting symbols of pride and connection, transforming the campus grounds into a collective tribute to CSU’s legacy and community.
The Graduating Student Council (GSC) of each batch has the authority to determine which project to implement for the university, based on the major preference of the entire graduating class. In previous years, GSCs have implemented projects such as university vending machines (Gidlaw Class of 2023) and the volleyball court at the University Hostel (Sanghaya Class of 2024).
