Caraga State University (CSU) and the Agusan del Norte Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ANECO) officially signed the renewal of their Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for ANECO’s Scholarship Program today, July 20, 2026.
Representing CSU during the signing ceremony was Ms. Shiela Rae E. Permanes, Director of the Office for Admission and Scholarship. Signing on behalf of ANECO was General Manager Engr. Darwin T. Daymiel, PEE, who was accompanied by the cooperative’s department managers and personnel from the Corporate Communications and Public Relations Office.
First established in 2022, the partnership between CSU and ANECO aims to grant educational opportunities to financially challenged yet academically deserving students within the cooperative’s franchise area. Through this program, several CSU students were able to pursue their education and graduate, including the eight Golden Paddlers who graduated with Latin honors at the recent commencement exercises.
With this renewed commitment, CSU and ANECO will continue to support and empower the youth through accessible, high-quality higher education.
