CSU officially receives award as Top 1 SUC with numerous Level 4 accredited programs

Setting a new benchmark for academic quality, Caraga State University has officially been recognized as the Top 1 State University and College (SUC) with the highest number of Level 4-accredited programs in 2025. The recognition, presented by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), was conferred today, March 24, 2026, during the opening of the 39th AACCUP Annual National Conference and General Assembly, held at the Century Park Hotel in Malate, Metro Manila.

The conference, which runs from March 24–26, 2026, revolves around the theme: “Advancing QA: Research, Science, and Technology for Transformative Education and Sustainable Development.”
University President Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil, Vice President for Executive Operations Dr. Michelle V. Japitana, CSU Main Campus Quality Assurance Management Services (QUAMS) Unit Head Ms. Joy Maris D. Otero, CSU Cabadbaran Campus QUAMS Head Engr. Alma Bermudez, and CSUCC QUAMS Director Dr. Jan Niño G. Tinio personally attended the conference to receive the award. Also in attendance were the college deans, College of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Dean Mr. Henson M. Dejarme, College of Computing and Information Sciences Dean Dr. Jaymer M. Jayoma, and College of Education Dean Dr. Leo L. Codilla.
