Caraga State University (CSU) celebrated the civic commitment of its “Golden Paddlers” as 2,133 students officially completed the National Service Training Program (NSTP) for Academic Year 2025-2026 during a graduation ceremony held May 23, 2026, at the CSU Gymnasium.
The graduating batch consisted of 1,081 Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) trainees and 1,052 Literacy Training Service (LTS) trainees. Their completion follows the graduation of 701 Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) trainees held earlier on May 20, bringing the total number of NSTP graduates this year to 2,834.
CSU President Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Vicente A. Pitogo joined NSTP Director Dr. Minie L. Bulay and the dedicated NSTP facilitators to honor the students’ transition from trainees to community-ready volunteers.
The ceremony featured Mr. Anthony Laurence M. Cubio, a 2024 CSU Magna Cum Laude alumnus, who served as the guest speaker, sharing insights on leadership and service.
The highlights of the event included the awarding of outstanding NSTP students, the distribution of their Certificates of Completion, and the handover of the 2025 graduating class project.
