CSU President Rolyn C. Daguil expressed his high hopes and wishes for Caraga State University on his holiday and birthday messages to the CSU family. A simple Christmas party for the whole CSU family was held early evening of December 19 at the Hinang Hall of CSU.
CSU President Rolyn C. Daguil with the newly designated four Vice Presidents, CSU Board Secretary and CSU Regent Honorable Ronnie Azura actively participated in the Office of Commissioner Jo Mark M. Libre or OCJMML SUCs Undercharged Year-End Assessment of “Best Practices” and 2023 Strategic Planning. The event was held at the Luxent Hotel in Manila on December 21, 2022.
December 19, 2022, marked another milestone for Caraga State University as the newly reclassified faculty members from Instructor III to Assistant Professors I-III, to Associate Professors I-V, to full-fledged Professors I-IV and University Professor ranks took their oath of office in a ceremonial oathtaking led by CSU President, Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil.
In a simple ceremony, after the usual Monday flag raising rites, CSU President, Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil “names and pins” the new Vice Presidents and Deans effective January 2023.
The College of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Physics Department presented fourteen (14) fourteen (14) scientific papers at two (2) International Scientific Conferences held in the Philippines on December 2022.
To prepare for the upcoming academic year, the faculty and staff of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHASS) conducted their Annual Planning and Performance Review and Assessment at Kaliguan Beach Resort, Cagwait, Surigao del Sur, on December 1-3, 2022.
Caraga State University through the Planning and Development Office (OPD) conducted a workshop on Crafting the Pollution Control and Environmental Management Policies on November 8-9, 2022 at the CSU Administration building Conference Room.
The College of Engineering and Geosciences launched its Christmas village light-up for their first ever Pasko sa Hinang at the Hinang Hall last December 9, 2022. The highlight of the event was a Christmas village prepared by the first year students of the six (6) programs of the college.
The Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-PCAARRD) in collaboration with the Association of PAQE Professionals (APP), and Licensing Executives Society-Philippines (LES) held Agri-Aqua Innovation Pitch Fest on December 5-7, 2022.
