Caraga State University, through the Department of Biology, collaborates with Hokkaido University (Japan) for a Lecture-Workshop on Marine Invertebrates Systematics and Taxonomy Methods on March 15, 2024. The primary objective of this activity was to introduce various approaches to the taxonomic studies of Phylum Nemertea, Order Polycladida, and Order Isopoda, with faculty and PhD students from Hokkaido University serving as resource persons. Several participants from different SUCs, NGAs, and MS/BS Biology students actively participated in the lecture-workshop.
Executives, Admission Board Members, and selected faculty from the Bohol Island State University (BISU) visited CSU on March 11, 2024, to learn best practices for admission policy and processes and CSU’s accomplishments throughout the years. The benchmarking activity is included as the first agenda in their series of admission pilot tests in the Caraga Region.

CSU President Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil attended the 9th Annual Eurasia Higher Education Summit (EURIE) 2024 held at Istanbul Lutfi Kirdar International Convention and Exhibition Centre-ICEC, Türkiye, previously called Turkey, from February 26-29, 2024.
Governor Nilo P. Demerey Jr. of the Province of Dinagat Islands and Chair of the Caraga Regional Development Council (RDC), along with his wife, visited the Office of the President on March 1, 2024, to discuss the future direction of the School of Medicine.
Officer-in-Charge and VPAF Dr. Alexander T. Demetillo and Chief Presidential Management Staff, Dr. Luisito I. Tabada, cordially welcomed the guests and chaired the meeting as representatives of President Daguil who was on official travel.
The first day of the month at the HERO Learning Commons is booked by the students, parents, and faculty from the Butuan Brilliant Star Christian Academy. Mrs. Nena L. Vicente, the School Administrator, stated that this experience would allow their preparatory and elementary learners to see a modern library setting in their hometown.
