Golden Paddlers win DA’s regional infomercial contest

Seven (7) Golden Paddlers representing Caraga State University clinched the championship in the agriculture infomercial contest hosted by the Department of Agriculture—Caraga, which was awarded on November 8 at Robinsons Place, Butuan City.

The Caraga State University’s SANGKA 2024 formally opens tonight, November 5. Seven (7) colleges will vie for championship in the following categories: sports, e-sports, literary arts, visual arts, musical arts, dance arts, theater arts, and major events. This year's theme is Steven's Universe, a Cartoon Network action-adventure series.

The Caraga State University (CSU) expands its efforts in its proposal for the School of Medicine (SoM) by collaborating with the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) for academic cooperation and faculty workforce complementation. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed today, November 5, 2024, at PLM’s Office of the President.

Golden Paddlers earn championship, top spots in regional ‘Organic Agriculture’ quiz bee

Four (4) agriculture students from Caraga State University clinched the championship, 2nd, 3rd, and 8th spots in the regional quiz bee on ‘Organic Agriculture’ held at ATI RTC-13, Los Angeles, Butuan City on October 31, 2024. 

CSU, PNVSCA to strengthen ‘volunteerism’ programs

Recognizing the importance of mainstreaming volunteerism in the academe, Caraga State University formalized its partnership with the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA) through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed on October 28, 2024.

Twenty-three (23) faculty members from the College of Engineering and Geosciences (CEGS) participated in the 10th International Exchange and Innovation Conference on Engineering & Sciences (IEICES 2024), held at Kyushu University in Fukuoka, Japan, on October 17-18, 2024. Recognized as one of the premier international conferences in the field, the event received 50 research papers from CSU-CEGS, all of which were accepted for presentation and subsequent publication.
