Three first-year BS Environmental Science students demonstrated remarkable honesty today, October 2, by returning a lost sum of Php 40,000.00 that they found in the parking lot of HERO Learning Commons. Dreama C. Dugho, Hazel Joy L. Cruda, and Jolina B. Pamor promptly reported the lost money to the building's staff and security personnel, who immediately informed the three major spaces at HERO that were hosting different activities.
October 2, 2024 – The Commission on Higher Education (CHED), through its Technical Panel, commended the university's efforts and deemed most of the documents for the School of Medicine (SOM) as compliant, following a thorough evaluation of its proposal to establish a Doctor of Medicine program. Lead Technical Panelist Dr. Manuel Dayrit noted during the exit conference that only minor compliance requirements remain, which are expected to be addressed and submitted with the revised proposal by November.

The Caraga State University (CSU) demonstrates a steadfast commitment to the implementation of its Doctor of Medicine Program, evidenced by its earnest engagement in the discussion meeting and ocular inspection facilitated by the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office (CHEDRO) Region XIII. The discussion meeting on December 21, 2023, deliberated the specifics of the proposed MD program. Among many notable discussions, CHEDRO XIII wanted to ensure that the Doctor of Medicine program is aligned with national standards and benchmarks.
