CSU and LGU-Mainit sign MOA for MapX Project

CSU and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Mainit, Surigao del Norte signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to implement the MapX Project on September 8, 2023, at the Municipal Hall of Mainit.

The MapX Project is a complete real property mapping and assessment solution that uses advanced geoinformatics technologies. It aims to improve the efficiency of the current process of administering real property tax mapping by harnessing the power of modern technologies. The MOA signing was attended by CSU officials, Mayor Hon. Crisanta O. Mondano, Municipal Assessor Mr. Edpher Leo M. Sindol, and the entire MapX Project Team.

With the implementation of the MapX Project, the LGU of Mainit is expected to have a more efficient and accurate real property tax mapping system. This will help the LGU collect more accurate and timely real property taxes, which will benefit the constituents of Mainit.
