Through the Commission on Higher Education’s Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency Program (ETEEAP), two of Caraga State University’s administration employees finished their undergraduate degrees this year.
Mr. Stanley Estrada, Administrative Aide II assigned to the Office of the President earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Saint Joseph Institute of Technology, Butuan City last May 30, 2019. He served the university for 21 years starting as an Office Clerk.
On the other hand, Ms. Cherrlyn A. Parba, Office Staff assigned to the Registrar's Office finished BS in Business Administration major in Human Resource Management Development (HRMD) at Capitol University, Cagayan de Oro City. She also served the university for 21 years assigned at the College of Education and moved later to the Registrar’s Office. They stood as inspiration to their fellows and to other employees who are also aiming for professional growth and development.
The CHED’s ETEEAP is a comprehensive educational assessment program at the tertiary level that recognizes, accredits, and gives equivalencies to knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values gained by individuals from relevant work. It is implemented through deputized higher education institutions that shall award the appropriate college degree.
